After being denied several times at scoring opportunities in the first half, Mt. Enterprise more than made up for it in the second, dropping Lovelady 32-7 in a non-district game at Wildcat Stadium Friday night.

The Wildcats improve to 4-0 with the victory. All four wins have come at home. Mount Enterprise hits the road for the first time this season when it visits rival Cushing Friday.

The seven points given up in the first half to Lovelady were the first points allowed by Mount Enterprise all season.

In the first half, the Wildcats proved to be their own enemy as they turned the ball over on downs inside the Lions' 5-yard line and had another touchdown called back. The Wildcats trailed 7-6 at the break.

Then in the second half, things got better as they scored 26 straight points to ease to the victory.

Larry Solomon had two touchdowns passing to Blake King while Dexter Davison returned a kickoff 96 yards for another score.

Jamal Utuk added a 30 yard run, and Anthony Lewis did twice that and then some when he stepped off 70 yards for another score.
