Mt. Enterprise Fourth Graders place in Poster Contest

Two Mt. Enterprise Elementary Fourth Grade students recently placed in the Rusk County Soil and Water Conservation District. The students were to create a poster that promoted the organization's slogan, "Today is the day to be a part of conservation's power."

Placing first in the school and third overall in the county was Lauren Valdez. As a result of her county award, she was able to represent the school at a county awards assembly. Lauren's poster is being displayed as a county medalist and is not shown. Placing third in the school was Travis Lee, who is shown with his poster.

Congratulations to these two youngsters for representing our school and continuing the MEISD tradition of excellence!
