Several Wildcat football players receive All-District nod

Following an outstanding 8-2 season in which the Mt. Enterprise Wildcats began the season with a huge 39-0 win over eventual State semi-finalist Maud but barely missed the playoffs after losing several key players to injury and facing one of the toughest 1A districts in the state, several Wildcat players were honored for their hard work and success with all district selections. Topping the list were senior Brian Townsend, who was named Co-defensive player of the year along with Eric Permenter of Joaquin and sophomore Larry Solomon, who grabbed Co-Offensive newcomer of the year honors along with Jakebrian Jones of Beckville. Other Wildcats landed spots on both first and second team offense and defense:
